There are hundreds of books in the White Bear Library on every topic imaginable. Jacob the Librarian knows each and every one.  He spends the day helping visitors, doing research and dusting and shelving books when they need it.

Jacob is excited to let you know that the Children’s Library is adding more books every day.  Each book in the Children’s Wing centers around diversity because kids come from all walks of life. They come in all colors, shapes, sizes, genders, religions and cultures.  They have a wide variety of physical and emotional abilities. They can be sick or healthy, rich or poor, or anywhere in-between. Jacob believes every child should be celebrated. Come to the library, choose a book and celebrate the amazing world we live in and the amazing kids that bring us joy and teach us new things every day. It’s all about encouraging, respecting and supporting each-other by learning and appreciating the beauty in everyone we read about.

He is also overseeing the building of a new wing of the WB Library, the White Bear Room!

Right now, there is only one book in the White Bear Room,
